Every teacher we are working with brings a lifetime of invaluable experience. We ensure they are generously compensated and receive ongoing royalties for their contributions to our project. This not only to honor their invaluable knowledge but also provides them with a stable source of income, allowing them to continue their vital work within their communities.

At The Mayan Market, we partner with small, family-owned Mayan businesses to offer you Mayan traditional craftsmanship. These businesses specialize in handmaking authentic Mayan items such as ceremonial cacao, jicaras, traditional candles, weavings and other sacred objects, using methods passed down through generations. 

One of the foundations of Mayan wisdom is their role as timekeepers. They developed several calendars, such as the Human Level Calendar, also known as the Cholq'ij, being one of the earliest. It is the human level calendar that enables us to comprehend the energies that comprises our existence and how they influence us.
